  One thing I would really like to say is that often before purchasing more
  laptop or computer memory, consider the machine directly into
  which it is installed. Should the machine is running Windows XP, for instance, the actual
  memory ceiling is 3.25GB. Putting in more than this
  would just constitute a new waste. Be sure that one's
  mother board can handle the upgrade volume, as well.
